For different species of animals, the grinding holes of the pellet-making machine are also different. We provide a variety of grinding disc apertures (2-12mm) for you to choose from. (The length of the pellets can be freely adjusted by the customer)

• 2.0mm grinding disc: suitable for parrots, thrushes, finches, and other pet birds.
• 2.5 mm grinding disc: suitable for young elephants, young chickens, young ducks, young geese, young pigeons, young birds, young peacocks, young aquatic fish, and other small animals.
• 3-4mm grinding disc: suitable for rabbits, chickens, ducks, geese, pigeons, birds, peacocks, aquatic fish, etc. (3-4mm: 3.0mm, 3.5mm, 4.0mm can be chosen)

How to use Pellet Making Machine?

A pellet-making machine is a device that compresses and shapes raw materials, such as sawdust, wood chips, or agricultural waste, into pellets that can be used for fuel or feed purposes. Here are some general steps to follow when using a pellet making machine:

Prepare the raw materials. The raw materials should be clean, dry, and free of foreign objects, such as stones or metal pieces, that could damage the machine.

Chip the wood into pieces that are 2.5 cm (0.98 in) or smaller. Turn on the wood chipper by activating the ignition, and carefully feed the branches, logs, or other materials into the mouth of the chipper. Set a container at the opposite end of the chipper to catch the wood chips as they shoot out of the machine. 

Mix the raw materials with a binding agent, such as vegetable oil or starch, to help the pellets hold their shape. The quantity of the binding agent should be 10% that of pellet production per hour. 

Adjust the clearance between the roller and flat die of the pellet machine to 0.1-0.3mm before feeding the oil mixture to the pellet machine. The grinding process should last 15-40 min. For ring die pellet mill, the grinding process requires more oil mixture and longer time. 

Start the pellet making machine and begin feeding the raw material and binding agent mixture into the hopper at a steady pace.

The pellets will be formed as the raw material mixture is forced through the die by the rotating rollers. The finished pellets will come out of the machine and can be collected in a container or bag.
